Well Kings opened on Thursday. Before then I was catching a few and releasing them. I went out Thursday and fished hard. Not a bump. Lots of flounder and cod getting hooked and released.

So, Judy and I went out Friday for a 3 pm tide, heat of the day, sun bright – not the best conditions. An hour and half into our troll, after catching two small silvers, we hooked the big one! He ran, jumped, dived, charged the boat and finally gave up to Judy’s net.
