1st trip of the season for King Salmon Friday morning May 15th at 6:00 a.m. Low Tide for Anchorage was at 6:00 a.m. and the weather was drizzling rain. Fished 5 #0 sized clinchers below the railroad bridge at the Power Line hole. No one around and water was fast and muddy/silty. No one else was downstream with me and had the place to myself. No fish to be seen on the incoming tide, no hook ups, no bumps. Fished the Lil Corkie with 6/0 single hook tied on to 40# test leader 36" long for about an hour and 1/2. Will try again in a few days. THe kings have got to be in sooner or later.
