Barriers Islands South of Biloxi, MS, Mississippi 04-29-09 06:00 AM ( about 4 hours )

Made a quick run to the barrier islands yesterday with Don Thomason, one of my regular clients.

This trip would have to be short, but we hit the jackpot with redfish, Florida pompano, and gulf kingfish.

In no time we boxed 6 beautiful slot redfish, 3 Florida pompano (one pushing 3-pounds) as well as 3 big gulf kingfish a.k.a. "whiting"

In no time we were back at my house where I cleaned and bagged up the fish, and had Don on his way back home to Alabama in plenty of time for a fresh fish supper.

Water at the isles is still quite turbid, but the fish are out there. Also, saw plenty of birds working the outer surf, but it was to rough to get to them.

So come on down to Biloxi, MS and create your own fishing memories aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS.
