Took a few co-workers to fish this afternoon and trolled Point no Point. Was slow and didn't see anyone catch anything. About an hour into the troll, the rod goes off, and really takes off. Aaron grabs the rod out and holds on as the fish runs. However, we lose it and we don't have anymore hits the next hour. As I am stowing gear away, I noticed that the spoon that hooked the fish has lost its hook!!! @#%SD. Third time this week we lost a big fish due to gear issues. I have no idea why 2 spoons lost their hook. Brand new too.

Drop our crab pots before fishing, and pick up 4 on a 3 hour soak.
