We took a morning and tried bass fishing with a guide while on vacation in Orlando and had a great morning. Live bait was the key, and the first hour at sunup was crazy with fish on or hitting baits constantly. It started slowing down and by about 9 it was slow, but withan occasional fish. We probably landed 20 bass, with the largest a hog about 8lb and 24" long. The boys had a great time catching fish we normally don't see much here (or target,) and even caught a pickerel and and a bowfin. It's different listening to the grunting of allegators around you while you're fishing.
