Point No Point is one of my favorite places to fish in Area 9. It is on the olympic peninsula on the Sound end of Area 9.

Fishing Point No Point
Point No Point is one of my favorite places to fish in Area 9. It can be great for Summer Chinook, Fall Coho, and Winter Blackmouth.
The typical patterns of fishing around a point applies here. Troll north of the point on an outgoing tide, and troll south of the point on an incoming tide. Always troll with the tide, and look for the bait that forms on the 80-120' shelf. Make sure your depth matches where the bait's at.
An eddy forms around the point on the flow side, and many moochers will drift there as well. I've had many hook ups just at the point as well, but be careful of the number of boats crowding that area.
