I just recently started fishing on the Puget Sound with a 12ft aluminum boat. my options are limited due to the size of the boat. I was wondering if there were any fishing spots in the sound that are easy to get to in a little boat. I would love to find some good bottom fishing or salmon grounds. Any advice would be appreciated.

Go down to Ed’s Surplus wed aug 5th for a coho/humpy seminar and get that 12 footer dialed in for the next 3 months, river and sea. 630 to 9pm.

I’m not sure if the season is still open, but launching at Don Armeini in West Seattle & fishing right along shore can be good, I used to fish in an 8’ pram, with oars. Good spot if it’s open…4-7 AM.

Put in at Mukilteo State Park and fish Humpy Hollow between launch and south to shipwreck (MA 8-2)… opens Saturday for coho and pinks… good luck and be safe!
